Aaron Hanen is the business manager at Custom Coastal Homes, bringing over 30 years of hands-on construction experience and leadership to the company. He began his career in 1991 and has worked in nearly every aspect of residential construction since. Today, Aaron oversees business operations with a strong focus on client relationships and energy-efficient building practices. 

Outside of his work with Custom Coastal Homes, Aaron serves as the Fire Chief of Bowen Island—a role that reflects his deep commitment to leadership, safety, and community service. Whether managing a complex build or responding to an emergency, Aaron brings calm, integrity, and an unwavering dedication to doing the job right. 

Ewan McEachern is a passionate builder with a background in engineering, architectural design, carpentry and furniture making. Ewan graduated from University of British Columbia with a degree in Civil Engineering and worked construction management in the energy sector before landing in residential construction with Custom Coastal Homes.
